The Nubians is the name of an ethnic set mainly found in Egypt and Sudan. The Nubians in Sudan are more numerous than their counterparts in Egypt. The social status as well as economic conditions of the Nubians in Sudan is far better than of those in Egypt.
The language, which is divided into two main sets, is known as Nobiin. Ancient Nubians have raided and controlled Egypt several times. Inversely, there have existed some phases wherein Egypt regulated and collected tax from Nubia. In armed warfare, Nubian archers were considered to be the most expert and treacherous warriors.
