The word "meno" means "month" in Greek. Meno is also a dialogue more precisely a Socratic dialogue which was written by Plato. The dialogue mostly concerns itself with the discussions relating to the definition of virtue. In his work, Plato uses the characters of Socrates and Meno discuss and debate the proper general definition of virtue, the possibility of it being taught, whether it is one quality or more and whether it is common to all human beings. Besides Socrates and Meno the other main characters to the plot arte Meno's slaves and Anytus. Anytus is a member of one of the prominent Athenian families.
