A kind of pharmaceutical compound that helps to reduce the spasm in the smooth muscles can be said to be anti-cholinergic agent and the prime examples of the muscles on which it is effective is bladder.

Besides having some positive effects, anti-cholinergics have some negative aspect also. If there is increase in the level of this substance in your body it can create a lot of problems. These problems include substantial reduction in the production of mucus that result into sore throat, double vision, increased body temperature, increased heart rate, dryness in mouth and blurred vision.

There is no particular treatment that can be offered to a person who is suffering from increase level of anticholinergic. But if the problem is acute sometimes physostigmine, a reversible agent can be used.
