The word "infinite" refers to something that seems to have no boundaries, like the sky. We cannot see the beginning or ending of the sky around us; it seems to have no limits. It seems to go on forever. When astronauts leave the boundaries of Earth's atmosphere in the space shuttle, what they see is infinite space; space that has no limits or boundaries, but seems to go on forever. We know that we live in a galaxy that is heavily populated with stars, planets and moons.

In fact, if you had a powerful telescope, you could see a galaxy that is closest to us; the Andromeda galaxy. Galaxies are not infinite; they have boundaries that may be spiral or globular in nature. However, the space between galaxies is infinite; it has no boundaries that we are able to see. Thus, the entire universe as we know it is infinite; we cannot see its beginning or its end. We can see no boundaries of the universe. That's difficult concept to grasp because we are used to things having limits and boundaries. The size of the universe is infinite, and we are not able to grasp this concept.

Infinite means there is no boundaries.. As for SKY..
Yes sky is infinite because we can't see the starting and ending point of sky...
As you learned that any number divide by zero(0) give the infinite value means there is no limit.
So, the things without boundaries are known as infinite.

Infinite mean when something will never stop finishing
like a straight line
infinite does not exist, for example:
We count numbers 1,2,3,4,5,.... We can continue for ages
but there is still a number which will come back to 0 that we don't know
so
infinite does not exist!!!

If infinite means no boundaries then the sky is not infinite itself as it has its boundaries.

Andromeda is not the closest galaxy to ours but the small and great Magellanic Clouds are...

I disagree with the concept of infinite being no boundaries. The 2 dimensional surface of earth infact has no boundaries and yet it is finite! Think if man was as big as an ant without the discovery of the third dimension he would think 2 dimension earth surface as infinite.

If Sky is defined as outer space visible from any comsic body, now we humans are like small ants when we compare to the size of the universe and it is limiting us to find a fourth dimension to confirm if sky/universe is infinite!

Infinite is nothing but a word defining the state of mind of anything we cannot think of.
Until you discover something is finite and your mind can be convinced of the concept directly/indirectly it is infinite!

Apologize if people does not understand.
