Ledge means an underwater edge or even something like a rock shelf. It could also refer to something like a horizontal projection which in turn forms a narrow shelf on a wall. It is derived from a Middle English Leggen, which means to lay and also from the Old English word which means lecgan. Ledge also known as Grand ledge is a town that is situated in the U.S state of Michigan. This town is situated inside the Eaton County and also a very small portion moves into the Clinton County. The cities main attraction is the 300-million-year-old, sandstone and quartzite rock. This rock is situated approximately 60 feet above the Grand River.
