The term errand generally means a short and quick trip done to accomplish a specific purpose. There was even a well known computer game by this name, The Fool's Errand.

The game was released in the year 1987 and was an award winning meta-puzzle game. It had an exceptional combination of story telling, playful hands-on vision puzzles and mysterious treasure map. It is basically the story of an itinerant Fool who searches for his affluence in the Land of Tarot and braves the fascinations of the High priestess.

It is said that a sequel to this game titled The Fool and His Money is going to be released by the end of the year 2006. The first version was written for Apple Macintosh and ported to MS-DOS, Commodore Amiga and Atari ST.
