What Does Viva Mean In English?

Viva means happy ending. Also, viva characterizes one with success and good life so anyone called "viva" carries a mantle of peace and freedom as per the African belief in Kenya. Also, viva means warmth and order with tranquility. Its all in the name. In ancient times the King used to select specific people to be called "viva es" and they would serve the king all their lifetime in battles and in reconciliation. Only 3 people at any given time were given the name.

The word viva in the English language means the oral part of an examination. VIVA is also the name for a private German music television channel based in Cologne. It was started in the year 1993 by a shareholder unit headed by Time Warner but was initially led by Dieter Gorny to contend with MTV, which was the market leader around that time. Generally being the first ever musical channel to be aired in German, VIVA was able to secure higher ratings for the target audience.

On 21st March 1995 another channel by the name VIVA Zwei was launched. The main objective of the channel was to concentrate and give importance to independently composed music. In the year 2002 its name was changed to VIVA Plus and its concept shifted to purely pop and commercial music and was targeted towards the youth.
