Damnation from the Biblical view: When referring to the future it means primarily eternal separation from God with accompanying punishments. The severity of the punishment is determined by the degree of sin (Luke 12:36-48), and is eternal.

Isaiah 66:24 "And they will go out and look upon the dead bodies of those who rebelled against me; their worm will not die, nor will their fire be quenched, and they will be loathsome to all mankind."

Damnation [and Eternal Damnation] is the concept of being permanently excluded from the grace and presence of God and is a biblical and spiritual term. ~~Jesus [in the New Testament] uses it frequently, as in --for example-- Matthew :18:8 and in : Matthew 25:56.

Damnation is the process of damning or the state of being damned. It is the conviction on one, to serve punishment forever, in Hell.

In Christian belief, damnation in hell is the price that people pay who have committed sins that cannot be redeemed, have to pay to God. This is a topic that has caused the most conversions to Christianity, because of its motivating factor.

Those who are damned cannot enter heaven and are condemned to eternal torment and pain in Hell. Biblically, Hell is signified as a place that is constantly burning and on fire. It is said that the concept behind this is that people who are not worthy of being preserved by God will merely be eliminated.

The word 'damned' is nowadays used as a moderately profane word and is used as a curse word.

Damnation is seldom preached from the pulpets in bible believing churches today, the early 1900's traveling evangelists preached 4 or 5 messages, Heaven, hell, The love of God,
2nd coming of Christ. Johnathon Edwards preached a sermon called "sinners in the hands
of an angry God" it is documented that people who were not living for Jesus, dugged their
fingernails into the pews because they felt like they were being pulled downwards at the same time crying out to God for mercy. ED pray 4hrs day
