Fate means that you have no choice in your ultimate destiny. It means that no matter how you live your life, no matter what you do or how you feel, no matter how you act or react...your life has already been worked out and will pan out according to a destiny that was predetermined prior to your existance. You are just fiddling away the hours with meaningless activity to keep yourself occupied, while "fate" runs your life like a john deer tractor.

Fate means what is going to happen. It's similar to the word "destiny." Hope this helped you, though I know it wasn't much :D

Fate is a synonym of the word destiny. It is defined as an event or a course of events that are inevitable and will definitely happen at some point of time in the future. Fate or destiny is the ultimate agency which determines the future course of events, usually beforehand. It is often personified as a woman.

To fate (something) is also a verb. It means to destine decree or decree something beforehand. Fortune is another word that is closely associated with fate. It means the overall circumstances or conditions in which a person lives, which includes and even influences every event that occurs in the life of that person.

It is also known as kismet and karma. These two words are derived from Hindi, the national language of India. Destiny, fate, kismet and karma are synonymous with each other and all of them are concerned with the fixed natural order of the universe.

Fate is supposed to be something you are destined to do. Mind you to have fate, is a total contradiction in religion as they claim you must have this yet you are the ruler of your own destiny. A total contadiction, because if your life if pre-destined yet there is the question of choice

I guess it is a hindrance of something to happen. For example in a sentence you would say  ..... If I would change fate I would be there with you.
