The term reverence basically means a feeling or attitude of deep respect tinged with awe. Reverence was also the name of Faithless initial album, launched in the April of 1996 it was later reissued in October.
The album comprises of a number of singles, which went on to become well know classics of Faithless. Some of the well known classics of the album are Don't Leave, Salva Mea and Isomnia. The album made it to number 26 on the UK charts. In the year 1996 the album was re-released under the name Reverence/Irreverence comprising of an additional CD which had remixes of the original songs.
The total length of the album was fifty two minutes and fifty seconds and it was released under the Cheeky Records Label.
