The term 'Ku Klux Klan' is used as a pro noun and it describes an organisation that consists of only white men and you can basically find this organisation in the southern states of the United States of America. The people of this organisation operate secretly and the motto of the organisation is to oppose the social change. These people can go for violent means to attend their goal to oppress black people.

The name of the term is probably taken from the Greek word 'Kyklos' that conveys the idea of a circle and 'clan' is the common term that is used to convey the idea of a particular tribe. This organisation came into existence in the year 1865 and it was formed after the end of the American Civil War.
