Righteousness is a theological tem that is used in Islam, Judaism and Christianity. T refers to two different things. One is it is a term which relates to a feature of God, where he is consecrated and righteous. Second, it is a term that refers to righteousness of man, where this feature stands as an inborn righteousness or even as the right to stand before the Lord

The word righteousness was coined by William Tyndale. He basically derived this word from rihtwis. Righteousness literally means "right doing". In the New testament according to James 2:15-16 and James 2:11-12 ," Righteous acts according to James include works of charity as well as avoiding sins against the law of Moses."
