A latch is mechanical type of a hardware that is used to join two or more objects, it is a special type of a fastener that can join surfaces together and allowing them eventually open only a little bit. Latches are available in various types; they range from the complexity of their springs to the more flexible one piece flat springs consisting of metal or plastic. These latches are used on doors or on blow moulded plastic power tool cases.
