Sometimes maybe you are annoyed because you have had to wait too long for something or because you are not getting what you want.

The term impatient refer to not patient, not accepting delay. Patience is the skill to tolerate waiting, delay or provocation without getting irritated or upset.

Where as impatient is the reverse of patient, Patience is depicted as virtue in religious as well as spiritual practices. It has been marked in the Quran as well as in Bible in the narrative of Job, and is also identified in Hinduism by the means of Bhagavad Gita. While recognizing in Christianity, patience is neither one of the customary Biblical three theological virtues nor one of the four cardinal virtues.

Patience in Islam is said to be the greatest and most respected qualities of life. It is said with the help of patience a Muslim can get closer to God and hence accomplish true peace.
