In the cosmic and ultimate sense, apart from individual and group meaning, does there necessarily have to be any meaning at all. Does the wind have meaning? Does the growth of a plant have meaning?
Isn't it enough that we exist and can question and investigate the immensity and mysteries of the natural world. There is not necessarily a 'meaning' to anything. Physical forces have physical causes and the point I'm trying to make is that there may not be any more meaning than what an individual perceives. The universe itself, and life, as a physical process in a material world, does not have to contain any 'meaning' at all.
