The name Solon refers to a Greek who lived from 638 BC to 558 BC. It was the name of an Athenian Lawmaker who was famous and known as one of the men amongst the Seven Wise Men of Greece. One of the famous quotes attributed to him was "look to the end". Solon was in 594 BC involved in bringing back order to Attica and due to this accomplishment was given the honour of rewriting the constitution in existence. The new constitution was known as the Solonian Constitution. It was notable that it did away with some of the harsh laws that Draco had introduced and abolished debt and slaves who were debt related were freed. The man was simply exemplary he wrote the constitution and went into self imposed exile that lasted ten years just to keep away from the temptation of power.
