What Does Feud Mean?
Feud can be defined as a bitter conflict between two parties. It may take place between two or more individuals or between two or more groups of people for example clans and families. They generally have a long history and may go on for longs periods of time before they are dissolved. They may have started for a variety of reasons like jealousy, an insult to a member of one side, and then translate in to bitter cycles of retaliation. They may extend to several generations.
A feud is very similar to a vendetta. In modern times one can see feuds everywhere like for example in the music industry. A hip hop feud is one wherein two artists usually rappers engage each other in verbal combat through their lyrics. Some of the most famous ones are those between Jay-Z and Nas, 50 cent and Ja Rule, Benzino and Eminem, Eminem and Insane Clown Posse, Ja Rule and DMX.
