To be displaced is defined as to literally be forced to move to another place from a proper place, where someone is usually used to living. A refugee is a displaced person. Refugees move outside of their hometowns or native countries in search of better living conditions because of the difficult circumstances prevailing in the places they originally hail from. These difficult circumstances may arise due to the outbreak of war or the mass persecution of people.

A displaced person is a person whose original place of residence before the invasion that took place in the year 1967 was on the West Bank or the Gaza Strip. These refugees were forced to evacuate the place during the 1967 war and could not return to the West Bank or the Gaza Strip because of the hostile circumstances. As a result of this, all the descendants and children of the evacuees were also considered to be displaced.
