The word Gallus is commonly used in the Argyllshire town Dunoon, meaning brilliant, amazing, better than you could of possibly imagined. I.e 'that birds got Gallus tits man'

Gallus is Glesga-speak for the appreciation of something / someone being highly regarded.
It goes hand in hand with that other famous Glasgow line: "Pure dead brilliant".
