What is the opposite to "the wisdom of the crowds" and how does it work?

I would say that, that it mean to "own what you know". Take what knowledge and wisdom you gained from your experiences and mistakes in life, and use them as base for who YOU are and the decisions YOU make. Every follower is a leader within themselves. They're just simply leading themselves to follow.
