What Does Intimate Mean?

Being Intimate With Someone , doesn't really mean having sex , it could mean being close , for example , something simple like a kiss , hug & Cuddles. For me being intimate is getting to know someone better by being alone with them , even if you hug or kiss

You can also use it to describe the sexual relationship of people. The adjective term has some other uses also and it describes a place or a restaurant that is an encouragement to close relationship that people can have in a sexual way.

When you intend to use the word as a verb it conveys a complete different meaning. The word is being used to let somebody know about your thinking in an indirect way. The word can also be used as a noun for a kind of friend who is very close and your relationship is very personal with him.
