The word 'relocate' is used as a verb and it describe the phenomenon of moving somebody somewhere from the place it was earlier. The word is mostly used for a company or its workers that have stopped the production at some place and are shifting to some other place usually for monetrial reasons.

The word is formed of two different terms namely 're' and 'locate' and locate is the word that is quite popular to convey an idea of the place where something is situated and 're' is quite famous word for doing things again. It is being used in the word 'remove', 'rebound' and so many other words. You yourself can form many of the words with the use of the word 're' as a suffix.
