The tem dissolving is the process wherein a substance goes into a solution made up of another substance or wherein one substance, which is the solid state of matter, dissolves in another substance, which is in the liquid state of matter. For example, solid substances such as sugar, salt and detergent powder dissolve and settle at the bottom of a bucket or glass of water.

Dissolving is also defined as causing to dissolve. In the above example, the dissolving medium, namely the bucket or glass of water, is called the solvent and the substance that is dissolved in the dissolving medium or solvent, namely the salt, sugar or detergent, is known as the solute.

The term dissolving is defined as the action of stirring dry ingredients into a container containing a substance in the liquid state of matter until the solid substance disappears and settles at the bottom of the container.

It is when stuffs seems to disappear, like when you add salt to water and mix it the salt seems to just go? Well thats dissolving. So then if you wana get it bk you let the water evaporate so you get the salt back. But salt DOES dissolve
