My name is ARIANA...from what the people says I think it`s a beautiful name...
I like my name much more after I discover the meaning of my name...
"ARIANA" it's a female name that in greek means "Very HOLY one"...And in Italian it means "Like a Beautiful Melody"...
I`m from Kosova a young europian conty and for all of you who are going to have a baby I think the name "Ariana" it`s a great name for your child....

My name is Ariana and it means A beautiful melody; a song. I think it also means a princess in Greek but it's questionable. It came from a greek origin but Italian people took it over.

My name is Ariana, I'm in my mid 20's and I read when I was younger that the name is Greek and it means 'to please'...it is only recently I have come across these 'other meanings'. I like the name but now hate that everyone wants an unusal name for their children, therefore all the pretty names are given to prospective chavs!!
