My name is Lindsay and the biblical meaning is "sheltered by a hedge" like Job in the Bible. If you are a Christian....you are sheltered by a hedge and only God has the authority to take that hedge away. He allowed this to happen to Job, Job passed the test and God gave back to him more and way better things than he had before. :)
