The word 'Shoshone' is used for a member of the Native American people who are basically confines in the US state of Wyoming. The plural for the term can be the word itself or if you want you can follow the normal course of adding the letter 's' in it.

Some of the famous tribesmen who were a part of this tribe were Washakie and Sacagawea. And it was Sacagawea who is known to be guided the expedition of Lewis and Clark.

The Shoshone are known to adopt the horse culture but still they found trouble when they were competing against the tribes lived in the eastern side of them because these rivals had access to European weapons and they are also exposed to the culture of the Europeans.
