Passé means antique or out of fashion. It is a French word that means passed. It is used in reference to a feminine noun passée. Thus it reflects French idiomatic usage and was incorporated in the English language to mean from a prior time, antiquated, or old fashioned. An accented é is always used even in English and as this language does not assign genders to nouns it is always used in the masculine form of the word i.e. Passé.    This word is often used when somebody talks about outdated fashions and trends or while referring to a very old fashioned and outmoded ideas and thoughts.
