The word mulled is the past tense of the word mull. It has a number of meanings.

When an alcoholic beverage is infused with flavours and aromas of other ingredients such as spices, herbs, fruits and sugars they are said to have been mulled. The most common beverages that are treated in this manner to improve or alter the quality and taste etc are beer, cedar and wine. A wine that has been so enhanced is known as a mulled wine.

Mulled also refers to having thought out or pondered over something, issue or problem at length. For instance "the judge mulled over the question of admissibility of evidence all afternoon". It can be defined as a study, contemplated, meditated, reflected etc. It basically means to have thought about something with solemn seriousness and its Antonyms are neglect and ignore.
