Faction means a neologism which is used to describe the works based on realistic historical figures and real events. They are fibered together with imaginary writings. Faction is usually disliked as it is confusing to people who are trying to search or find out facts. Faction is not a new phenomenon. . Geoffrey of Monmouth was an all too victorious splinter group writer in the 12th century, and afterward the historian Holinshed was led into blunder by treating Geoffrey of Monmouth's writings as reality.
