What Does Freaking Mean?

Overreacting to a situation.  Mom's freaking out because I forgot to get tissues from the store.  
Scaring someone off.  If I play that loud metallic music, I'll freak out my Sunday school teacher.
Freaking is often used in place of that other "f"word.
