Serum is just like plasma containing fibrinogen which is removed by means of clotting. Serum albumin : Containing more or less albumin in the blood serum serves to maintain somatic pressure of the blood. Serum globulin : Globulin occurs in the blood serum containing antibodies of the blood. Opsonin : An antibody in the blood serum which attach and invade to the microorganism of antigen n make them more susceptible to the action of phagocytes.
Antiserum : Blood serum containing antibodies ,provide immunity to the disease
