It stands for "Material Safety Data Sheets". They are usually located in science labs (even your school should have one) and they list safety information for every chemical in the lab.
Whether it be disposal information, what to do if you ingest it, get it on your skin, or in your eyes, or even if you set it on fire accidentally, it will tell you what you should do.
