The term Domingo means Sunday in the Spanish language. Sunday basically is a holiday in most of the countries across the globe. It is customarily the first day of the Judaeo-Christian seven-day week.
It is also the day when many Christians go to church. In India, Sunday is known as Ravivar, based on the Ravi- Vedic God of Sun. According to the Gregorian calendar, no century can begin on a Sunday, and in the Hebrew calendar, no year can begin on a Sunday. Any month starting on a Sunday will comprise of a Friday the 13th.
People generally take Sunday as a day to relax and unwind from the weekly stress that they face throughout the week. Many short picnics and trips are even planned out on the Saturday, Sunday weekend.
