Well, My name is Mariah as well.. I'm only 12 though. Lol. Anyways, I've always been told that it meant Princess of the wind, God is my teacher, and that I was courageous, funny, brave, wise loyal and trustworthy. Some random hobo also said it meant Butterfly in the rain.. But ah well. I do think I am the princess of the wind, I absolutely LOVE when it's windy, I enjoy the rush from the wind blowing through my blonde hair.. It makes me feel free! You know? But bitter, well I guess by that meaning is that I will not, absolutely, will not back down from a challange.  I will stand for what I believe in and tell you straight up, I won't beat around the bush.
