I met an older guy at McDonalds in Taipei who randomly started talking to me in Chinglish. I was studying my Mandarin textbook, and he seemed very interested to see a young white kid studying Chinese. He told me that to impress my Taiwanese friends I should say "Su-ee dang dang." The Su-ee part sounded like a second tone in Mandarin, and the dang's both sounded like first tones. However, Taiwanese has 9 tones, I think, so I'm not sure if those are the right tones. I think if you get close people will know what you're saying.
