I'm not positive but I believe it means
"valley of sunflowers". And yes it's an
indian word, just not sure what tribe.

What did this sentence mean, when it was given in the editorial of a wall street journal under the heading Rahm to Bill to Joe.
" Mr clinton could at least have thrown in consulting gig with yucaipa"
