What's Does "What Nourishes Me Destroys Me" Mean?

I think it means that what you think is best for you isn't always the best for you.
Like desires and food..it could be anything like sometimes you forgive someone and ignore lies  simply because you want them in your life. So it nourishes you but it may destroy you in the end.

I agree.  Whatever has given me intense satisfaction has also given me the most pain.  Example:  Food, relationships, love and then losing the one you love, life, an experience that has to end
When you love, you open yourself up to the pain of loss.

Well you have to take any quote in your own terms. For me this quote means it in a literal sense. I stress exactly to much. But that stress pushes me to be how I am, to make me the person that I am today. But out of to much stress I sometimes don't sleep  eat and worry to much. So in the end it will be my demise. But keep in mind this can be taken many ways.
