The Roaring Twenties is the term used for the 1920s, mainly the events which took place during the time in the North American continent. This decade has been portrayed as one of the most eventful decades in history. The decade saw the coming back of surviving soldiers of the First World War, the development of music genres, mainly that of jazz, the birth of a new image of the modern woman, as well as Black Tuesday, the omen indication doom, mainly the Great Depression.

However the Roaring twenties were characterised by many inventive creations and the unearthing of facts which had far reaching results, there was unparalleled industrial development and consumer demand and dreams reached new heights, accompanied by considerable modifications in people's lifestyles and a chain of incidents, national as well as in other parts of the world, which was the basis of a big portion of the history of that decade.
