Cyber Culture is the developed culture which has sprung up around Internet use. This involves activities from blogging to web cam prostitution. People live their lives on the internet, order their food through the internet, buy wine from the internet, buy books on the internet, watch television on internet, but some people LIVE on the internet, their friends, jobs and education are all channeled through a computer and form part of what one might call Cyber Culture.

Cyber comes from a Greek words which means 'Control', this is an important element of Cyber Culture, we can control our lives on the internet, particularly our Cyber personality. So as we engage in chat programmes or complex Second Lives, we invent the persona that want. We can control the elements of our life online that cannot be controlled in real life. Cyber culture means being able to control aspects of our culture.
