It is the Latin language where the word Nivea can trace its origin and in Latin the original word is 'nivis' that conveys the idea of snow. It is this meaning that attracted the global cosmetic brand Nivea to name itself as such and now people hardly know the exact meaning and they relate the word only with the name of the brand rather than the Latin language.

The cosmetic is sold in almost one hundred and sixty countries and the distinct features of the brand that conveys its popularity is that every second at least one pack pf Nivea cream is being sold at some place in the world. The popularity is also because most of the ingredients that are being used in the manufacturing of the product are natural.
