Actually the spelling of Jenny doesn't mean ass like a donkey.  In biblical terms the spelling is Ginny.  Which doesn't mean a cuss word.  It is simply talking about a donkey or ass.  Same think as a jack-ass.  This isn't cursing this is just they way the word was perceived.  My name is Jenny but it isn't short for Jennifer or Guinevere or even Jane.  It is short for Virginia.  My name shortly means fair lady, strong, smart and beautiful.  I hope this clears that up about a Ginny.  I don't know why the dictionary changed the spelling from Ginny to Jenny.  That's not right....
