What does the name Joey mean?
Where I come from, it means a baby kangaroo.
A true story: I was in a tourist shop near the Victorian border and there was a joey, apparently just out of its mother's pouch, hopping around the shop to the delight of all the customers.
A young woman wearing a mini-skirt was completely unaware of this as she stood at the counter waiting to be attended to. The joey hopped up behind her, looked up at the inviting, darkness beneath her skirt, and thought, "Ah, that looks just like Mum's pouch." And he stuck his wet nose up there to see.
The woman screamed!
But she was delighted when she realised what had happened and gave Joey a cuddle.
