Abusive behaviour can be as small as calling someone a name or spreading rumours so people gang up against them,.mostly this behaviour is caused by issues between just 2 people but it can be shown by nearly everyone in some way..violence is usually the most common form of reported abusive behaviour but all it takes is for you not too be caring for others feelings and if thats you its best you say nothing and keep too yourself or you will get in a lot of trouble.

The abusive behaviour means: -

* Ignoring a person
* Forcing a person to do something a person doesn't want to do
* Ignoring what choice a person has made
* Telling a person off if a person hasn't done something wrong
* Getting a person into trouble if a person hasn't done something wrong
* Restraining a person if a person is not misbehaving
* Calling a person names
* Locking someone in the bedroom if a person is not being naughty

EXAMPLE: If a staff member, at respite, forces a person to watch The Vicar Of Dibley after trying to make a choice of what they want to watch on television, this is abusive behaviour.
ANOTHER EXAMPLE: If a staff member, at respite, tells a person off, getting a person into trouble, or restraining a person if a person has not done something wrong, this is ALSO abusive behaviour.
