What Does It Mean When You Show Foam Cells From Discharge From Breast?

There are two possibilities of green discharge from the breast.

1. Fibrocystic breast
2. Mammary duct ectasia which is inflammation of the mammary duct not due to bacteria or underlying cancer. But it needs biopsy.
   

Foam cells are present in swellings and derived from macrophages and smooth muscle cells. Mammary foam cells are responsible for spontaneous nipple discharge.
After the biopsy things will be clear. In majority of the cases these secretions are not due to cancer.
