2) the listeners or viewers of a radio or television program
3) the people who read a book or a periodical such as a newspaper or magazine
4) the targeted or potential consumers of an advertised product or service
5) an interview with somebody important, especially one with power or authority
6) in archaic usage, the faculty of hearing or listening
