Fair test refers to a perfect experiment in science. It means that, if a scientist is doing an experiment where he must test variables, he should change only one factor that is having its effect on the variable. For example if it is a botany experiment, and you take 2 plants, then both plants should be given equal amount of sunlight, water and air, so that both plants flourish equally.
