Well, when I was at my Basic Training for the Army, I tried to give blood, but you must have a hemoglobin of 2.5 and I was at a 2.3 so I could not give blood. That being said, if your's is that high, I would consult a doctor, but the hemoglobin is just how thick or thin your blood is!
Hemoglobin is a protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen.
Normal results are: Male: 13.8 to 17.2 Female: 12.1 to 15.1.
