Lymphocytes are one of types of white blood cells. There are 2 major types of WBC called granulocytes and agranulocytes. Granulocytes are further divided in to neutrophils, basophils and eosinophils. Agranulocytes are divided in to lymphocytes, monocytes and macrophages. Complete blood count test show all types of WBC in percentage. Normal lymphocytes in a healthy person are 20-40%, neutrophils are 40-60%. So, lymphocytes % shows how many percent of total WBC are lymphocytes.
