Come on GOmer, you are old enough to know better . . . Time Flies, or Tempus Fugit (as the familar grandfather clock engravings remind us) means that there never seems to be enough time to do all that we would hope to do; and that time lost "flies away" and cannot be gotten back. It is a gentle reminder to all that they should be judicious about the time given them and put their time to valuable use . . . Before opportunities are irretrievably lost. . . . A reminder not to yield overmuch to frivolity or idleness in one's life.
