Swollen lymph  usually are due to infection but some time they swell without infection due to
  • Fatigue and fibromyalgia
  • Lymphatic congestion
  • Mercury toxicity
  • Hodgkin's lymphoma
  • A firm, tender and swollen lymph node for more than 3 months can be due to AIDS.
